One Small Step Toward Enlightenment: Shambhala Dignity Wallpapers

I produced a series of four posters after reading The Buddha Walks into a Bar for our last book club. Each poster is one of the four Shambhala dignities: the tiger, the snow lion, the garuda, and the dragon. They are useful reminders on the path toward mindfulness and are available below as free mobile wallpapers.

If there is enough interest I will produce a screen printed run of these posters. Let me know in the comments.

1. Click the appropriate image or link below to get the wallpaper(s) you want.

2. These are FREE, so enter $0 (zero) for the price on the download page. I will also email a backup copy to you.

The Garuda

Equanimous and accepting. The part man, part bird garuda is the perfect reminder to avoid the traps of fear and hope, and to accept the impermanent nature of life.

Thanks for the kudos from everyone. I had a great time working on these with my illustrator, Kevin. They turned out better than I could have hoped.

    Yeah, got mine!

FYI anyone trying to download–you do NOT have to put in payment details even though it looks like you do. Type in 0 in the payment area and the cc form goes away.

  2. Tim says:

So if you did a screen printing, what size would they be?
I’m assuming they are fancier posters?
    t-shirts?

Love these pics! I’ve been looking for tattoo designs of the 4 Dignities, and these are the only ones I’ve liked. Would you ever consider giving permission for someone to use your art like that?
